Double 18″ Output from a Cab 1/2 the Size
The BASSBOSS SSP215 Powered Subwoofer delivers output to frequencies lower than many double 18” cabinets. Each individual SSP215 enclosure supplies intense, deep bass, and uses around half the space and considerably less weight than a double 18″ subwoofer.
Fat, Punchy Bass from a Low-Profile Box
The BASSBOSS SSP215 Profundo subwoofer delivers output to frequencies lower than many double 18” cabinets and at levels most double 18″s struggle to reach. Each individual SSP215 enclosure supplies tight, detailed, and punchy bass and uses around half the space and considerably less weight than a double 18″. Ideal for the mobile professional who needs significant bass output but has limited transport space.
For venues, the low-profile box can fit under the smallest of stages, and still power packed dance floors with full and punchy bass. The character of the 15″ drivers are extremely well suited to live music venues and performances that can benefit from the greater articulation and detail than a typical 18″ driver can accomplish.
The smallest frontal dimension of the SSP215 is only 17.5”. That’s just a foot and a half high, making it extremely versatile for placement options because it can fit under low stages, flown in low ceilings, tucked in corners, or between furniture where larger boxes wouldn’t fit. It’s only 22.5” deep and 48″ wide, making it a perfect truck-pack size. It’s tuned low, for use as a real subwoofer, with long-excursion, low distortion 15” woofers, and thanks to the lower mass of the 15” cones it delivers the tight, punchy sound as well as deep, rolling bass.
Multiple proprietary protection technologies ensure that the woofers remain within their excursion and thermal limits, so they don't break or burn like other subs. BASSBOSS provides much higher levels of deep bass than mass-market subs, reliably.
With plenty of headroom to keep up with the most enthusiastic crowd and not run out of bass.
So turn it up, and keep it up. BASS is good for you.

Maximally flat frequency response with very articulate, detailed, punchy performance, with exceptional low frequency extension and high output relative to size. The SSP215 is a vented, direct radiating dual 15″ subwoofer that is tuned for optimal driver performance and linear frequency response from 35Hz to 100Hz. The cabinets feature ultra-rigid construction with extensive bracing. The cabinets are sized for touring with truck-pack friendly dimensions and the ability to transport in stacks of up to 4 cabinets.
The cabinets are constructed from 18mm Baltic Birch plywood, assembled using dado joints, screws, and advanced composite adhesives. Stainless steel bolts are used to secure the drivers, amplifier and pole sockets. The cabinet is finished in an extremely rugged, black polyurethane coating. The driver is protected by a black powder-coated, perforated steel grill. The amplifier is recessed into the back of the cabinet for protection from damage, direct sun and moisture.
Created to stand up to intense usage. The cabinet is finished in an extremely rugged, black polyurethane coating. Drivers are protected by a black powdercoated, perforated steel grill, and the amp is recessed into the back of the cabinet for protection from damage, direct sun and moisture.
A 2400W RMS amplifier with integrated, comprehensive DSP is included. The amplifier is rated for RMS output using continuous sine wave signal.
This is not a Peak or Burst power rating. BASSBOSS uses only continuous RMS power ratings because you’re not going to be using your sub in millisecond bursts. For subwoofer applications, Peak and Burst power ratings are largely irrelevant.
Capable of delivering 2400W of continuous output. This ensures the amplifier isn’t the limiting factor in the output of low frequencies. Providing abundant power prevents overheating issues. It virtually eliminates the damage that clipping an amp that’s too small can cause.
All that electrical power is converted into acoustical energy by a pair of 15″ neodymium motor woofers. These premium-quality, drivers feature split-wound 4″ copper voice coils, and peak-to-peak excursion capability of up to 56mm.
High-intensity Neodymium magnets are lighter and provide higher efficiency so the result is a lighter and louder cabinet. Split-wound coils produce a more linear force through the range of movement of the cone, which results in lower distortion and improved linearity at high output.
Practically impossible to blow up. The combination of extremely rugged, very high power handling, long excursion drivers, carefully optimized cabinet and port design and several effective but transparent protection systems. The protection systems effectively prevent thermal overload of the voice coils and minimize long-term thermal compression while having virtually no effect on the transient response and peak output of the loudspeakers.
The cones are waterproofed to protect them from possible, accidental exposure to moisture such as rain or spilled beverages. Waterproofed woofer cones also permit the cleaning of drivers that have been soiled in a dirty or dusty environment with the use of a damp cloth. Keep the amplifiers dry and party on!
Waterproofed cones in all products. Optional weatherized and weather resistant loudspeakers have the same acoustical performance as our standard options. If your system is likely to be exposed to rain, ask about IP rated amplification options. If you have need of a system for outdoor installation, ask about Weatherized products.
BASSBOSS subs can be connected directly to your mixer with nothing but signal cable in between. The built-in processing is comprehensive and yet minimal manipulation is applied to the signal. The processing includes only a high pass filter and a low-pass filter. There is no need for any EQ in the signal for the speaker to provide a broad, flat frequency response. A sophisticated limiter system protects the woofer from thermal and over-excursion damage.
Plug-and play with peace of mind. Multiple, sophisticated protection systems make the loudspeaker virtually indestructible. You can turn on and turn up, all night, without fear of over-driving to the point of damage.
BASSBOSS technical specs are based upon measurements of continuous performance capabilities in normal usage. Other manufacturers may specify output based on calculations rather than measurements; measurements outside the operating bandwidth; or on ‘Burst’ or ‘Peak’ readings.
BASSBOSS specifications are conservative compared to most manufacturers. They reflect what the products will achieve, consistently, in the real world. Since the real world is where you’ll be using your gear.
