The US Small Business Association is offering $16.5 billion in grants to shuttered venues.
The last year has been rough.
Help is on the way!
The U.S. Small Business Administration “Shuttered Venue Operators Grant” program was established in December 2020 to assist businesses affected by the COVID-19 Pandemic.
This program includes $16.5 billion in grants to eligible venue owners, producers, promoters and talent representatives to aid live entertainment reopening efforts.
These grants do not require repayment.
Use them to invest and grow in the new environment.
Applications open on April 8, 2021.
Eligible applicants may qualify for SVO Grants equal to 45% of their gross earned revenue, with the maximum amount available for a single grant award of $10 million.
Allowable use of funds includes capital expenditures for producing a theatrical or live arts production (including BASSBOSS sound systems!)
