2,500W of Class D power on a single 4.5″ CCAW voice coil. Higher rail voltages slam the peaks while sustained output keeps the low end liquid down to 30 Hz.
The secret ingredient is powerful DSP limiting.
Five limiters work in concert, including thermal, excursion, and clipping, each protecting the driver differently. Built so deep into the DSP you'll never catch them working: the woofer takes everything you throw at it while the transients stay clean. Push it stupid-loud and it stays bulletproof.

Good Lord!!! Just tested my new SSP118s - this was a single sub in the middle of a huge lawn, on top of a platform, on the casters and paired with two RCF NX932a tops…. So one of the least ideal locations and setups for a sub and it STILL HIT! I picked a song to show case all the low note precision, speed and clarity for you guys.

Props to BASSBOSS! The depth and clarity is on par with Meyer, D+B, and L-Acoustic, all of which I run frequently as a touring FOH engineer. I am from El Salvador and we don’t have BassBoss here, but after researching I found outabout it and with your help I decided to import 2 SSP118 and 2 DV12s, and let me tell you, everything that you read about BassBoss is true. The sound is amazing! Clear and powerful! We played house and techno and everyone was happy about how tight the bass is. I have BASSBOSS SSP118s and they do awesome, really with all music and when I do really deep stuff I add the ZV28 to supplement, I used just the SSP118s for quite a while and got tons of compliments! I will say the SSPs have been one of my best investments honestly and one thing I love about them is you dont have to worry about watching limit lights. You can push them and push them it is crazy!
